Fashion Plate Fridays: Red Shawl

I've seen this plate around the web before, and it's one of my favorites. The bright red of the woman's shawl is striking, contrasting with her white dress. And I'm a sucker for poke bonnets with ridiculously tall plumes. The greek key edging on the shawl reminds me of The Dreamstress's recent 1860s gown, which also utilizes that motif.
