Textile Tuesdays: French Velvet Bustle Gown

Continuing on the bustle theme from last week, here we have a somewhat more subdued gown made of a flocked velvet fabric. I am always impressed with pieces like this where the creator (or creators) managed to get a variety of fabrics and trims to match and work together. Here we have the main velvet fabric accented by silk satin and fringe of the same color. I like the contrasting white lace down the front and on the sleeve cuffs.
