My Subway Project

I started embroidering this pocket in, I think, March 2011? I would only work on it every once in a while. But then I realized I could do the embroidery while riding the subway to work. The pattern only uses one color, so it is simple enough to do even on a crowded train. Which means real progress! (Also, this is a pocket kit that was a present from Mike. I think he got it from Wm Booth Draper.)

Here it is before cutting out.


And here it is right now, with the lining and backing applied and some of the binding done.
