Fashion Plate Fridays: 1870s Trained Gowns

Continuing on my Natural Form tangent, here are a couple of styles that show the transition from the 1870s bustle period to the natural form look. I love the trains, though they are impractical for walking and dancing. I always want to include them on my costumes and then think better of it. I have visions of my dress being stepped on and the whole skirt pulling off!
