Favorite Costume Event Photos of 2013

As many of you know, Mike and I have been slowly learning about digital photography over the past several years. I used to be a film SLR person, doing some developing myself. But then I didn't have consistent access to a dark room and gave that up. It has been great to get back into photography now, and my main focus has been on documenting costume events.

The following are some of my favorite images of the past year. They were mostly shot using an Olympus E-PM1, some with a 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and some with a 17mm f/1.8 lens. Processing was done with Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7.
